As a member of the Petitions Committee I am gathering feedback on this issue since I am keen to see that citizens’ rights and your concerns are adequately addressed. I also want to raise awareness about the need to stop the dust caused by construction projects and plants in Malta and ensure that EU laws on air quality are adequately observed.

To this end I am holding a number of consultation meetings with stakeholders addressing issues concerning air pollution in Malta emanating from the construction industry.
