The Petitions Committee of the European Parliament receives several complaints on air quality in Europe, including Malta. Dust pollution emitted from construction sites and from construction plants in Malta is known to raise a great deal of concern among residents in the neighbouring areas.

As a member of this Committee I want to hear your views and I want your rights and your concerns to be adequately addressed.

1. Raise awareness about the need to stop the dust

2. Ensure that EU laws on air quality are adequately observed
